"Setting Up Your Filters"

... Do a search for (Msvcrt10.dll) and (Plugin.dll) in your windows system or system 32 folder... For Windows XP I have them in both the windows system folder and the windows system 32 folder...

... If you do not find this file in your Windows System Folder....

... You will need to, download this file than copy paste or drag it to

... Windows/System Folder

.... For my "texture" filter, I needed the plugin.dll in the sub folder with the filter file... Three of them worked fine without the plugin.dll but one did not, until I placed the plugin.dll into the sub folder...

... With PSP 7.04 and 8 the Plugin Folder is already there....

... For PSP 4, 5, and 6, Using windows explorer, make a Folder Inside Your PSP Folder and Name it "Plugins" (Actually it can be anywhere on your hard drive, and it can have any name, as long as you set the path....)

... Inside this folder you will make sub folders to install all the individual filters into....

... Place the zip or exe into the sub folder... If you are installing from a cd, you will not need to place the file into the sub folder...

Install the Filters

... Unzip them into the sub folder.... For many filters this is all you need to do to install them.... If it is an exe file you will need to double click on it and watch as it goes though the install process, for the place to direct your filter into the sub folder you made for it... All filters must be in the path you have setup inside your PSP Program.... If you place all your sub folders into the plugin folder you will have them in the path....

... I keep the original download file inside my subfolder... If the filter file becomes corrupted I know right were to find them for a quick re install....

... Close your PSP Program

... Open Your PSP Program

... Since you can have more than one folder for plugins and they can be anywhere on your computer, and they can also have any name.... I made one on my C drive and named it @plugins so it would be at the top of the menu for easy access...Than all I had to do was go to file locations/ and set the path by clicking on the Browse tab and navigate to the folder I made. See Setting the path.....
